- live yeast - 50 g;
- cardamom powder - 1/3 tsp;
- 5 egg yolks;

- ½ lemon zest;
- salt - 1 tsp;
- sugar - 200 g;
- butter - 250 g;
- premium wheat flour - 1 kg;
- almonds - 100 g;
- icing sugar - for sprinkling.

Grasp the cooking dough. Dilute yeast and a teaspoon of sugar in warm milk. Sift flour, add half to milk, mix well. Set the finished dough in a warm place, do not forget to cover it. In 20 minutes the batter should rise.

Rinse and candied fruit, rinse, fill with water and leave for 15 minutes. Then drain the water, dry the dried fruit and sprinkle with flour.

In a separate deep dish, mix 4 yolks, vanillin, sugar and salt. Using a whisk, beat the composition, add finely grated zest and cardamom to it. Then mix the mixture with the dough. Add the remaining flour, softened butter, thoroughly knead the dough.

Leave it to stand for 2 hours, warm. A couple of times the dough should be kneaded. Next, you can form two pretzels. On a table sprinkled with flour, halve the finished dough. Roll out the tourniquet from each half, roll it in the form of a pretzel. Grease a baking sheet with oil or cover it with baking paper. Lay the semi-finished product, leave it to rise, for 15 minutes.

Heat the oven to 160 degrees. Before placing the baking sheet with the product in the oven, coat the Easter cake with whipped yolk and sprinkle with chopped almonds. Bake the easter pretzel for 35-40 minutes, so that the top does not burn, it can be covered with baking paper. Gently put the finished baking on a wooden stand, cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
