• 4 medium potatoes;

• 1 cold smoked mackerel;

• 1 onion;

• 1 tbsp. l flour;

Cooking:

1. Wash the potatoes, put them in a saucepan, add water and boil until half cooked right in the peel. Then drain the water, cool the potatoes, peel and cut into slices of approximately 5 mm thickness.

2. Peel the onion, chop it with a knife and fry in oil until golden. Wash the dill, shake off the water and chop finely with a knife.

3. Grease a baking dish with oil. At the bottom of the form, overlap half the circles of potatoes.

4. Sprinkle a layer of potatoes with ½ part of fried onions and season with pepper and salt.

5. Carefully remove skin from mackerel. Cut its fillet into large pieces, removing bones and the ridge.

6. Spread slices of peeled fillet evenly on top of potatoes with onions.

7. Cover the layer of mackerel with the second half of the potato circles, and sprinkle the potato circles with the second part of the fried onions.

8. Thickly fill the formed casserole with chopped dill, season with salt and your favorite spices.

9. Next you need to prepare the sauce. To do this, pour a little oil in a pan and heat it.

10. Pour flour into hot oil and fry it for 1-2 minutes.

11. After a couple of minutes, add flour to the water, cook for several minutes, adding salt to taste.

12. Pour the casserole with flour sauce and send it for 15-20 minutes in the oven, heated to 200 degrees.

13. Remove the finished potato casserole with smoked mackerel from the oven, sprinkle with your favorite greens and serve immediately.
