Pollock with us is sold only in frozen form. Therefore, we start cooking with defrosting fish. It should defrost only in a natural way. In fridge.

After the fish unfreezes, thoroughly rinse it under cold running water.
If you bought the whole fish, you should cut off the heads and tails.

Sprinkle the fish with salt and leave for 10-15 minutes.

Sift the flour at this time. We cut the onions in thick enough rings and rub the cheese on a large or medium grater.

We cover the baking sheet with food foil, so it gets less dirty and it will be easier to wash. Grease the foil with vegetable oil.

Remove excess salt from the fish, sprinkle with flour and lay on a baking sheet. The denser the carcass will be adjacent to each other, the better.

Time is adjusted in one direction or another, depending on the size of the carcasses. Do not cut the onion thinly; it may burn.
Useful advice
As with any other fish, only parsley and dill can be used. The greens should be odorless. Pollock is great with boiled potatoes and vegetable salads.
