Peel the apples from the peel, take out the core and cut into small cubes. Melt in a pan 30 g butter. Put apples, raisins, cinnamon and 50 g of sugar in a pan and fry for 10 minutes.

Take a deep bowl to prepare the dough. Mix the yeast with milk and mix until the yeast is completely dissolved. Melt 45 g of butter and pour into a bowl, pour 2 tbsp of water there and stir. While mixing the contents of the bowl with a mixer, pour 100g of flour there and stir for another 3 minutes. The mixer should be at low speed. Add the egg and continue stirring for another 2 minutes.

Take the dough to the work surface. When adding the remaining flour, knead the dough with your hands for about 10 minutes. Form a ball from the dough, cover it with a clean towel and leave for 15 minutes.

Roll out the dough so that you get a rectangle about 35 cm long and 20 cm wide. Put the filling on the center of the rectangle. Spread the filling, stepping back from the edges of the dough. About 2 cm of free dough should remain at the top and bottom, 7-8 cm should remain on the sides. Cut the side parts of the dough free from the filling into 2 cm strips. Fold the strips of dough over the overlap to make a pigtail. Cover the wicker with a clean towel and leave it in a warm place for 40 minutes. The braid should increase in volume.

Beat the yolk and grease the surface of the wicker. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Put the wicker in the oven for 30 minutes. Serve chilled.

You can take any filling for the wicker, but if the filling is meat, you need to remove the sugar when making the dough.

Useful advice

Dry yeast can be replaced with fresh, then you need to take not 7, but 15 g.

It is advisable to take apples for filling acidic and hard.

If the raisins were stored for a long time, before cooking, you need to soak it in warm water for 5 minutes, then dry it a little.
