Before making jam, take care of the berries. Sort ripe raspberries. If you got wormy berries, before processing they can be soaked in salted water (2 teaspoons of salt per 1 liter of water). All foreign matter will pop up immediately. Remove them and rinse the berries with running water.

The easiest option is raspberry jam, not mashed. Raspberries do not have pronounced gelling properties, so the jam from it will not be too gelatinous. However, many people like just such a product. Put the berries in a pan, fill them with water, add half a glass of sugar and put the pan on a high heat. Stirring, bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 5-10 minutes. Pour the remaining sugar into the pan and continue cooking for another 20 minutes. To check the jam, take a little product with a clean teaspoon and drip onto a cold, dry saucer. A drop of finished jam should not spread.

Try to make a delicious and fragrant jam from a mixture of raspberries and strawberries. Sort the berries, rinse the strawberries thoroughly in running water and remove the sepals. Put raspberries and strawberries in a pan, pour a glass of sugar and place on the stove. While stirring with a wooden spatula, cook the mixture for about 15 minutes, then add the remaining sugar. Add jam for another 15 minutes, and then test a drop.

If you like thicker gelatinous jams, add sour fruits like apples to sweet raspberries. Peel and peel them, cut into thin slices. Put them in a pan, fill with water and add a glass of sugar. While stirring, cook the apples until they start to boil.
