Start making sugar syrup: mix 300 ml of water and 300 g of sugar. Bring this mass to a boil. If you take sweeter apples to make jam, you need to reduce the amount of sugar.

Pour fruit previously prepared with hot boiled sugar syrup. Put the future jam on the stove. While cooking it is not possible to mix the contents of the pan, so take a large container.

At the same time, cut into half small slices of medium lemon (you do not need to remove the zest) and add it to the apples. After 5 minutes of boiling, remove the foam that gradually appears during cooking, remove with a spoon.

Next, you need to turn off the jam and let it cool a little, then boil again for 5-10 minutes. Repeat this action 3 times.

Sterilize the jars. After the jam is cooked, pour it into the previously prepared jars, tighten the lids and put in a warm place with your feet upside down. After 10 hours, flip the cans to their normal position. The jam is done!

So that apples do not break up when cooking jam, after peeling, soak them for 4-5 hours in water and in 2 tablespoons of soda. Wash apples thoroughly.
