  • - warm water - 200 ml;

  • - dry yeast - 1/4 teaspoon;

  • - sugar or honey - 1 tablespoon;

  • - salt - 2 teaspoons;

  • - olive oil - 2 tablespoons;

  • - flour - 600 g.

Sugar, warm water and dry yeast combine in one bowl. Do not touch this mixture until it begins to bubble. Then mix the resulting dough with olive oil and salt. Mix well.

To the resulting mixture, gradually introduce the sifted flour, stirring constantly. Thus, you should get a dough that does not stick to your hands. Put it in a cup with a deep bottom greased with vegetable oil and put aside, covering with a towel, for about 1-1.5 hours.

Half the resulting dough is enough to make pizza, so divide it into 2 equal parts. Roll out one of them with a rolling pin so that a rectangular layer is formed, the size of which is 25 x 40 centimeters.

Please note that all the ingredients that are needed for filling the dish must be placed about 6-7 centimeters from the edge, on each side. First put the tomato sauce, then cheese crushed using a grater. Next, place the sliced ​​ham and salami sausage. Season the oregano. Beat the egg a little and grease the free edges of the dough with it.

Roll the dough with the filling laid on it along a narrow edge in the shape of a roll. In this form, place on a greased baking sheet. Grease the top of the dish with the egg and pour the remaining grated cheese on it. Then take the knife and use it to make transverse cuts on the roll at the same distance.

Preheat the oven to a temperature of 250 degrees and send pizza into it for about 10-12 minutes. Stromboli is done!
