It turns out to be very beautiful and tasty cookies with dried fruits - dried apricots, prunes, raisins, dried cherries. Cookie dough can be prepared in advance and stored in the freezer. Before cooking, cut it into portions and bake - a healthy and quick dessert is ready.

You will need:

- 300 g of wheat flour;

- 1 egg;

- 150 g butter;

- 200 g of dried fruits (raisins, dried apricots, pitted prunes);

- 50 ml of milk;

- a pinch of salt.

Part of the dried fruit can be replaced with chopped nuts - almonds, cashews or hazelnuts.

Mix flour with salt, add grated butter. Grind the mixture to make a large crumb. Add the egg and milk, mix the dough. Rinse and chop dried fruits in a blender. Add the fruit mixture to the dough, knead everything until smooth.

Roll the dough into a sausage and wrap in cling film. Put it in the freezer for an hour. Then unfold the sausage and cut it into even circles. Put the cookies on a baking sheet covered with baking paper and place in the oven, preheated to 180 ° C. Cook the dessert for 10-15 minutes. Cool the pastries and serve them for tea.

Cookies can be glazed. Melt the dark chocolate without sugar and apply it to the surface of the products.

Oatmeal cookies with dates and nuts

You will need:

- 0.5 cups peeled walnuts;

- 500 g of oatmeal;

- 0.5 cups of water;

- 0.5 cup odorless vegetable oil;

- 0.25 teaspoon of soda;

- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice;

- a pinch of vanillin.

Lemon juice can be replaced with a pinch of citric acid.

Soak the dried dates in warm water for half an hour. Then remove the seeds from the fruit, finely chop the flesh. Fry the peeled walnuts in a dry pan and chop coarsely. Mix nuts with dates, add oatmeal and mix.

Pour warm water into the mixture, add vanillin and soda, slaked with lemon juice. Mix thoroughly until smooth. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. On a baking sheet covered with baking paper, lay out small portions of the dough, forming them in the form of small cakes. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the cookies until golden brown.
