Who doesn’t remember the smell of fresh pies? It creates a feeling of home comfort, and this is so important at the modern pace of life. And it’s not at all necessary to spend half a day to knead the dough correctly and wait until it rises. You can cheat a little, buy ready-made frozen dough, stick pasties and enjoy life. And, of course, the tantalizing smell of fresh pastries.

You will need

    • Packing of puff yeast-freeze frozen dough
    • Half a kilo of minced meat
    • Odorless vegetable oil
    • One medium onion
    • Spice
    • Salt

Instruction manual

1

Remove the frozen dough from the freezer and leave it to thaw at room temperature without opening the packaging.

2

Prepare the filling for the pies. To do this, peel the onion, cut it into quarters and scroll through the meat grinder. You can use a blender if the power of the device allows. Heat a skillet with vegetable oil. Put the minced meat on it, add the turned onions. Fry over low heat, stirring continuously. Salt the minced meat, add spices and bring the filling to cook. Stuffing should be the color of boiled meat, but not overdried and without a crispy crust. Cool the filling.

3

Lubricate the knife blade with which you will cut the dough, cutting board and rolling pin with vegetable oil.

Put a layer of dough on a cutting board. With a knife, cut the dough into six approximately equal parts. You can cut each of these parts in half, but then the pies will be the size of large dumplings. With a rolling pin, roll out each part of the dough, put the filling inside and pinch the pie. Put the pies on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil.

4

Bake the cakes in a preheated oven until the dough is browned.

Useful advice

Minced meat can be prepared independently, or you can buy ready-made minced meat from a mixture of pork and beef. Choose not very greasy mincemeat, but lean meat will not work either - the filling for pies will turn out to be very dry.

You can not chop the onion to a puree state, but simply chop it, but then sweetish pieces of onion will be felt in the filling. If you do not really like fried onions, it is better to grind it to a state of mashed potatoes before adding to the forcemeat.

In the packaging of frozen dough, usually two layers. Put the second layer of dough in a bag while rolling out the first, otherwise the dough will start to dry out.

You can take any spices you like. For minced pork and beef mix "Hops-Suneli" is not bad.
