You will need

    • 300-500 g of pork;
    • 300-500 g of potatoes;
    • 3-4 onions;
    • 5-6 pcs. sun-dried tomatoes;
    • 3-5 tbsp mayonnaise;
    • 1 tbsp cooking oil for frying;
    • cheese;
    • butter for greasing a baking dish;
    • salt
    • pepper
    • spice.

Instruction manual

1

Cut the meat into steaks 2-3 cm thick. Gently beat off on both sides. Mix a few tablespoons of mayonnaise with herbs and ground pepper. Rub steaks abundantly on both sides. Put them on a separate plate so that the meat is well soaked and juicy when baked.

2

Peel and cut the potatoes into thin slices. Set aside in a deep plate. Salt and, adding a couple of tablespoons of mayonnaise, mix.

3

Cut the onion into half rings. Fry in hot sunflower or olive oil until golden brown.

4

Cut tomatoes into slices. Add any herbs, pepper and salt is not recommended, as in the process of drying the spices have already been used.

5

Grease a baking dish with oil.

6

Put the meat on the bottom of the mold. On top of it, evenly spread the sauteed onions, then the sun-dried tomatoes and potatoes. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater and sprinkle evenly over the potatoes. If you use two types of cheese - parmesan and cheddar - first sprinkle with parmesan, then cheddar.

7

Cover the dish with foil and bake in the oven, heated to a temperature of 150-180 ° C, for 30-40 minutes. Remove the foil and leave to bake for a few more minutes.

8

Cut the prepared meat in a monastic way into portions and serve hot in combination with a light salad of fresh vegetables.

Useful advice

If you do not eat mayonnaise, you can lubricate the meat and potatoes with sour cream. Do not absolutely refuse this dressing, otherwise the dish risks being dry and tasteless.

As spicy herbs, you can use ready-made mixes Italian, For Meat, Greek, Hops-Suneli, etc. It depends on your preference. You can use a simple mixture of ground black and red peppers. Or mix pepper and aromatic herbs together.

Passer the onion better in olive oil, as it does not form carcinogens, is more useful compared to sunflower and does not change the taste during heat treatment.
