You will need
- red lentils - 1 cup
- tomatoes - 5 pieces
- tomato paste - 200 g
- onions - 1 pc.
- garlic - 1pc
- water - 7-8 glasses
- olive oil
- salt
- curry

Rinse the lentils and pour warm water for 10-15 minutes. Scale tomatoes with boiling water, peel them and finely chop. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.

When the lentils are slightly swollen, drain the water, rinse again and immerse in a pan with water. Set a medium fire.

Pour a little oil into the pan, fry the onions, garlic and tomatoes until soft. After that, add the tomato paste there. Stew in this way 10-15 minutes, season the curry, salt.

When the vegetables are stewed, add the resulting mass to a pan with lentils. Cook until thickened for 10-15 minutes. Add salt to taste.

After the soup is ready, let it brew for about an hour. When serving, garnish the plates with basil and dill. Bon Appetit!

Traditional lentil soup should be quite thick. If you prefer a more fluid consistency - add more water.
Useful advice
If you have not found red lentils, any other one will do, the main thing is to bring it to a mild state.
