Instruction manual

Couscous with tangerines and honey

Couscous is a fast food product. This dish will not take you more than 10 minutes and will require the most basic culinary skills. If you know how to boil a kettle and cut fruit into slices with a knife, feel free to get down to business - you will succeed.

2

Heat the oven to 200 ° C. Put the nuts on a baking sheet covered with parchment and bake for about 5 minutes until the nuts turn golden.

3

Put the couscous and cinnamon in the pan, grate the zest with 2 tangerines and squeeze their juice to the couscous. Add oil, honey and 200 ml of boiling water. Cover and let stand for 3 minutes over low heat, then turn off the heat and leave for another 3 minutes under the cover.

4

Cut the remaining tangerines into circles, remove the peel. Beat the cooked couscous with a fork, adding half the toasted nuts, put on a plate and garnish with slices of tangerines and raspberries. Put thick yogurt in the center, pour honey and sprinkle the whole dish with the remaining nuts.

Croutons with chocolate and nuts

Croutons are a classic of a quick breakfast. With a “flick of the wrist” they can quickly be turned into a dish worthy of being served for breakfast to a loved one on this special day.

6

Cut the crust from the toast roll so that you get four identical hearts. Spread chocolate butter over 2 slices, sprinkle a little with nuts and cover with a second slice.

7

In a wide bowl, beat the egg, milk, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar. Dip the croutons in the milk-egg mixture for 1-2 minutes. Sprinkle the remaining crushed nuts on one side. You can wrap croutons prepared in this way with plastic wrap and leave them in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

8

Heat butter in a frying pan to a light froth. Fry the croutons on each side until golden brown. Put croutons on a serving plate, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with cream and fresh berries.

Useful advice

You can decorate both croutons and couscous with fresh, fragrant mint leaves.
