New Year's fireworks died out, the last salads were finished, and now we are bitterly looking at the growing figure on the scales and the increase in volumes after the holidays. Unfortunately, many of us cannot stop after New Year's Eve and continue to absorb everything that can be found in the refrigerator.

The principles of good nutrition in winter

First, let's talk about what principles you need to eat to keep yourself in good physical shape:

  • drink up to 2 liters of water per day;

  • start the day with Sassi water (pour lemon, ginger and cucumber with water at night);

  • eat more protein (up to 2 grams per 1 kg of weight);

  • limit your carbohydrate intake;

  • eat more vegetables, fruits.

Especially in winter, pay attention to a sufficient amount of protein in the diet. The point is not only that protein is a source of calories and building material, but also that the amino acids that our body receives by breaking down proteins are necessary components for the formation of interferons - proteins that help cope with viruses.

You also need to clarify about vegetables - potatoes should not be on your list. It may be difficult to accept, but a table is entirely possible without this product. But, on the other hand, this does not mean that we must completely abandon our national vegetable. For guests and households, you can still cook potato dishes, and sometimes you can pamper yourself, but not every day and in very limited quantities.

Necessarily in the diet should be greens - you can buy, you can grow. But take it as a rule - eat a salad of fresh vegetables with herbs every day. Greens are fiber and vitamins with minerals, and quite an exclusive set. Greens can be added to soups and side dishes - this will add piquancy and a unique aroma.
