You will need

  • 200 grams of butter,

  • 150 grams of cane sugar

  • 60 grams of powdered sugar

  • 380 grams of flour

  • 3 grams of baking powder,

  • 100 grams of white chocolate,

  • 180 grams of coconut,

  • 5 grams of potato starch,

  • 100 ml cream

  • 2 egg yolks

  • 100 grams of sour cream.

Instruction manual

1

Beat two yolks in a bowl until white, pour half of the cane sugar (75 grams) and continue to beat for another 3 minutes. Pour the second half of sugar to the yolks, add 100 grams of sour cream and butter, mix well, a homogeneous mass should be obtained.

2

Mix the flour with baking powder, sift it into a cup, and then pour it into a bowl with a liquid mass. Knead a steep dough that does not stick to your hands, which we remove in a cold place for 20-30 minutes.

3

On thick paper we draw stars of different sizes. Cut the workpiece. Preferably, 5-7 stars - patterns, different in size, one smaller than the other.

4

On the oven, set the temperature to 200 degrees, leave to warm up.

5

Roll out the dough into a layer with a thickness of about 7 mm. We cut stars according to pre-prepared patterns, the more stars, the more beautiful the Christmas tree will be.

We bake star cakes for 10 minutes.

6

While the cakes are baked, prepare the cream.

We combine white chocolate and cream, put in a water bath, melt. Grind coconut flakes in a blender, mix with powdered sugar and a teaspoon of starch.

7

The cooled liquid mass of chocolate and cream is mixed with a dry mass.

Lubricate cream cakes, leave to dry.

8

Spread the stars one on top of the other, slightly offset along the axis.

To make the Christmas tree green, add crushed pistachios to the cream.
