In the cold season, dishes prepared in pots appear on the table. They retain a special aroma and rich taste. Try to please your family with meat and potatoes, baked in pots.

You will need

    • 1 kg of meat (beef
    • mutton
    • pork);
    • 1 kg of potatoes;
    • 3 onions;
    • 2 carrots;
    • 3 cloves of garlic;
    • 300 g of fresh or frozen mushrooms;
    • 250 g sour cream;
    • salt and pepper to taste;
    • seasonings for meat;
    • 3 tablespoons of sunflower oil;
    • fresh greens;
    • Bay leaf.

Rinse the meat under running water and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut into small pieces. Put the pan on the fire. Pour 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil. Gently put the pieces of meat in the hot oil and add seasonings. Fry meat over high heat until crusty. Then set the pan aside.

Rinse the potato tubers in water and peel. Cut the potatoes into large pieces. Put in a small bowl and mix with salt. Peel the onions and cut into rings. Cut the carrots lengthwise into 4 parts, then cut each part into pieces no more than 2 centimeters in length. Peel the garlic and chop finely with a knife. Grind fresh greens washed under running water.

Peel the mushrooms and cut into thin strips. If you use frozen mushrooms, then boil them in boiling water for 5 minutes. Put the pan on fire and pour 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil. Put the chopped mushrooms and fry over high heat for 5 minutes.

Cook the pots. At the bottom of each pot, first lay the fried meat, then onion rings, chopped carrots. Add a little salt. Put chopped potatoes and fried mushrooms on top. Add 3 tablespoons of sour cream to each pot. Put chopped herbs, garlic on top, add one bay leaf and ground black pepper. Pour all the ingredients with boiled hot water so that it completely covers all the products.

Close the pots with lids and place in a preheated oven on a wire rack. Cook at 170 degrees for 60 minutes. Then turn off the oven and leave the pots for another 15 minutes. Serve hot directly in pots. Bon Appetit.
