  • • 500 g of fish fillet (it can be like pikeperch, pink salmon, and others);

  • • 400 g long loaf;

  • • 200 g of onions;

  • • 1/2 liter of milk;

  • • 150 g of cheese;

  • • greens;

  • • pepper;

  • • vegetable oil;

  • • mayonnaise;

  • • salt.

First, prepare the filling for the nests. To do this, grind onions, fish and herbs. Mix all the crushed ingredients thoroughly.

Cheese must be grated.

We cut the loaf into slices having a thickness of two centimeters. In each of them make a small depression, taking the crumb with your hand.

Thoroughly lubricate the mold with oil and put the pieces on it.

We put the filling of fish and onions in the recesses and grease the surface with mayonnaise.

We put in the oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.

Five minutes before cooking, sprinkle the nests with a layer of cheese. Optionally, do not add this ingredient. Taste, anyway. It will remain unique.

Useful advice

Before cutting the loaf, soak it with milk. Thanks to this, the nests will not be dry, and the taste will become very tender.
