Classic Stuffed Pasta Recipe

Ingredients

  • 250 g large shell pasta

  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste

  • 2 large carrots

  • 2 onions

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 150 g hard cheese

  • 200 g minced meat

  • 3 tablespoons flour

Cooking

  1. Pour cold water into a large pot, bring to a boil, dip the pasta into the dishes and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.

  2. Grate one carrot on a fine grater, chop one onion finely. Heat the pan, pour 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil into it and put the carrots and onions. Salt and pepper to taste. Remove the pan from the heat when the onion is browned and the carrots are soft.

  3. Now add the grated cheese (50 g) to the vegetables and mix the mixture. The first type of filling is ready.

  4. Next, you need to make a second filling - meat. Fry the minced meat in vegetable oil, adding finely chopped onions and grated carrots to it, salt and pepper.

  5. Then comes the important point - you need to carefully fill the shells with the filling. Do this either with your hands or with a teaspoon.

  6. Prepare the gravy: fry the onions and carrots with tomato paste in oil, add flour and 500 ml of water. Cook until thickened.

  7. Lay on a baking sheet foil for baking, put stuffed pasta on it, pour over the gravy and sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese. The temperature in the oven should be 180 degrees, the baking time - 30 minutes.
