But the soup can find a new taste if you cook it on the basis of fish stock and meatballs from fish fillets. A simple recipe for the first course will not take long to prepare a delicious meal.

  • - fish soup 4 cups

  • - fish fillet 200 g

  • - onion 1 head

  • - garlic 1 clove

  • - stale roll 50 g

  • - potatoes 3 pcs.

  • - carrots 1 pc.

  • - egg 1 pc.

  • - milk 70 g

  • - vegetable oil 1 tbsp. a spoon

  • - chopped greens 1 tbsp. a spoon

  • - salt and pepper to taste

Pass the fish fillet with garlic and onions once through a meat grinder. Add the roll, soaked in milk, egg, spices and mix all the ingredients thoroughly.

From the resulting fish mass, form small balls - meatballs.

Do not chop the carrots and onions and fry the vegetables in 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.

Bring the fish stock to a boil. Dip the diced potatoes into it and cook for 10 minutes. Add the fried vegetables, meatballs, spices, herbs and continue cooking soup for another 15 minutes.

Useful advice

Raw meatballs can be kept in the freezer and, if necessary, used to prepare the first dish, which will save your time.
