I always have cabbage pies in my house on the holiday table. I always bake them myself - I don’t trust anyone. In my culinary notebook there are many cooking options, and now one more has been added - with cabbage and chicken - yummy!

You will need
- Dough:
- - 0.5 l of milk,
- - 700-300 g of premium flour,
- - 30-50 g of yeast,
- - 250 g cream margarine,
- - 2.5 tbsp. l Sahara,
- - 1.5 tbsp. l vegetable oil
- - a pinch of vanillin,
- - salt on the tip of a knife.
- Filling:
- - 1/2 chicken
- - 2 onions,
- - 1 carrot,
- - vegetable and butter,
- - salt
- - sugar
- - pepper to taste,
- - a small head of cabbage.
- For lubrication:
- - 1 egg yolk,
- - butter.

Boil the chicken, separate the meat from the bones, chop. Chop onions and carrots, fry in oil, add to chicken.

Chop cabbage, fry in vegetable oil, combine with fried onions and carrots. Add salt, sugar and pepper.

Prepare the dough in a sparse way. We take milk and heat it to 35 degrees. Dissolve the yeast right there, a tablespoon of sugar. Pour the flour. It should be a semi-liquid mass. Cover the dough and put in heat for an hour. Melt butter and margarine. Separately, mix salt, sugar and eggs, pour into the dough. Then slowly introduce the flour. Knead for about 20 minutes.

Divide the dough into 2 parts. From one part to make a pie, and from the other, for example, pies with beans.

Roll out the dough with a layer of 0.7-0.8 cm, lay in a form, put chicken, cabbage with onions and carrots. From the part of the dough to make flagella, put on a pie lattice. Let it brew for 10-15 minutes, grease with beaten yolk, wait 5 minutes. and put in the oven. Bake at 180-200 degrees until golden brown. Grease the finished cake with butter.
