In English-speaking countries, milk iris is called fudge; there is a difference in irises when a delicacy is prepared with or without milk. If you adapt the delicacy to our area, then the fudge is almost a sorbet, only it is prepared using a slightly different technology. Strawberry fudge turns out to be sweet and tasty. But it’s better to take fresh strawberries for the recipe.

You will need

  • - a can of condensed milk;

  • - 300 g of chopped strawberries;

  • - 0.6 kg of powdered sugar;

  • - 30 g butter;

  • - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of lemon juice.

Instruction manual

1

Grease a baking dish with butter.

2

Pour the condensed milk into the pan, add the icing sugar, and add the melted butter. Shuffle these components. Bring to a boil, then add chopped fresh strawberries, lemon juice.

3

Cook, stirring constantly. Cook the mass to a state called a "soft ball". Checking the degree of readiness of the mass is very easy: pour cold water into a glass, drip a little sweet mixture into it. If the mixture has become like a ball, then everything is ready, but if it has fallen apart - it is necessary to cook more.

4

Pour the mass into the mold. When it hardens a bit, use a knife to draw some patterns on the surface.

5

Then cool the mass to the end in the refrigerator and cut into portions. The airy and delicious strawberry treat is ready.

Useful advice

For this recipe, it is better to take condensed milk without adding sugar, since fudge will turn out to be sweet due to powdered sugar.
