Ingredients for fritters:

  • 220 g mashed potatoes;

  • 1 egg

  • leek;

  • 1 tbsp. l soy sauce;

  • 2 tbsp. l canned green peas;

  • 3 tbsp. l sifted flour;

  • 50 ml decoction (beans);

  • ¼ tsp baking powder for dough;

  • 4 tbsp. l sunflower oil.

Sauce Ingredients:

  • 100 g sour cream;

  • 1 tbsp. l horseradish;

  • 1 tbsp. l soy sauce.

Cooking:

1. Put cold mashed potatoes in a bowl and knead thoroughly with a fork until smooth. Note that mashed potatoes may not be prepared specifically for fritters. It is recommended to use the remains of any mashed potatoes that are in the refrigerator. From this, the taste of fritters does not deteriorate at all.

2. Finely chop the leek with a knife and add to the puree. Drive 1 chicken egg there. Mix everything well, then add bean broth and soy sauce and mix again.

3. After pour in the potato mass flour, baking powder for dough and peas. If necessary, add everything and mix gently. You should not add a lot of salt, because soy sauce can completely replace it.

4. Pour sunflower oil into a skillet and warm it well. Then put the prepared dough into a hot oil with a tablespoon, giving it the form of fritters.

5. Fry on both sides until cooked, like the most common pancakes. This procedure must be done until the potato dough is over. The result should be about 15 fritters.

6. In a bowl, mix sour cream, horseradish and soy sauce. Sprinkle it with chopped green onion (possibly dill) and serve with potato pancakes with peas.
