While the cabbage is stewing, take a pan, pour vegetable oil and put on a stove to warm up. Rinse and cut the chicken into small cubes, season with salt and pepper. Fry over a frying pan over low heat.

Onions and carrots should be washed and peeled. Rub carrots on a coarse grater, and cut the onions in half rings or small cubes. Fry with chicken and potatoes.

Wash and peel the potatoes, cut into small cubes and fry together with the chicken until half cooked.

When the chicken and potatoes have a rosy hue and are almost ready, transfer them to a pot with cabbage. You no longer need to pour water, as cabbage will release juice. Add a couple of tablespoons of tomato paste or fresh chopped tomatoes and bring the dish to a cook.
