Remove the shrimp from its packaging and rinse thoroughly under running water. This is necessary to wash away ice and debris.

Take a large pot, fill it with water for about 2/3. Salt water, bring to a boil.

Once the water boils, dip the shrimp into the water. Add the juice of half a lemon and the greens of fresh dill to the shrimp water.

Cook frozen boiled shrimp for no more than 3 minutes. If the shrimp is freshly frozen, then cook them for 5-7 minutes. If you cook shrimps longer, their meat will be tough and viscous. Shrimp readiness can also be determined by the bright orange color of the shells that they acquire during cooking.

To shrimp were soft and juicy, leave them after boiling them in the broth for another 15-20 minutes.

Make shrimp sauce. To do this, crush a clove of garlic, fry it in olive oil, add red hot pepper. Stir everything and fry over high heat for several minutes. Then add the chopped coriander and some fresh lemon juice. Mix everything. Pour boiled shrimp with this sauce.

Choose shrimp carefully. Freshly frozen shrimp should be approximately 1 mm ice-covered and easily separated. According to GOST, people should be no more than 4%. If there is a lot of snow in the package - then the shrimp were frozen several times.

Shrimp is a perishable product, therefore it is not recommended to store them for a long time in thawed form.

Useful advice

Defrost shrimps gradually - if they were in the freezer, first transfer them to a regular refrigerator compartment, and only then you can defrost them at room temperature.

The smaller the size of the shrimp - the faster they cook. Make sure that crustaceans are not digested.

So that after cooking, the shell of the shrimp is easily separated from the meat, dip them for 2-3 minutes in cold water.
