Sausage is indispensable on the festive table. Is it possible to serve this constant snack in a new way? Why not try to roll the slices in the form of flowers, especially since the delicately pink color of the goodies completely allows this.

Instruction manual

1

Sausage roses

Cut the cooked sausage into as thin rings as possible, cut each ring into two equal halves (the knife is best used thin and wide). Take one half of the sausage mug, twist it into a tight roll, wrap it on top with another semicircle, a little less tight, wind another two or three slices, at the next slice, turn the edges outward to look like a rose bud. Fasten the rose at the base with a toothpick.

2

Sausage roses on the dough

Cut marble sausage into thin circles, take one circle and roll into a tight roll. Take the second slice, twist its edge a little and wrap it around the core - this will be the first petal. Take the next slice, just tuck its edge and wrap it first, continue to place the overlap slices until you get a bud of a suitable size. Trim the bottom of the rose so that you can firmly place the "flower" on the plate.

3

Boil milk, cool slightly (degrees to 30 Celsius), dissolve yeast in milk, add salt, sugar, eggs, pour flour through a sieve, knead for 5-10 minutes, the dough should turn out homogeneous, without lumps and not very cool, add milk as needed. Warm the butter, but only lightly, knead it in the dough, cover the container with the dough with a lid and place in a warm place for fermentation.

4

Wash the dough in 2-2.5 hours, when it rises sufficiently strongly, after 40-50 minutes, wrap the dough again, lay it on a flour-sprinkled table or cutting board. Cut a piece of dough, press it with your palm to make it flat, connect the edges of the dough in the center and turn it “seam” down, let it lie down for 5 minutes, roll it into a thin layer, cut into even strips.

5

Cut the sausage into thin circles, cut each circle in half. Lay the halves of the sausage circles on the dough strips with the base along the long side of the strip, leaving a little dough without sausage at the end. Fold the strip with the filling roll, roll the free end of the dough down to get something like a bottom.

6

Do the same with the rest of the sausage and dough, preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius, put the "roses" on a baking sheet, oiled or on special paper, bake for 15-20 minutes, until cooked.
