Few people can refuse pies with rice, eggs and green onions. This homemade pastry is able to gather the whole family at one table. Freshly baked pies fill the house with a delicious aroma and are swept off the plate in a matter of minutes.

You will need

  • For the test:

  • - 4.5 cups of wheat flour;

  • - 11 g of yeast;

  • - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar;

  • - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of butter;

  • - 500 ml of water;

  • - 2 teaspoons of salt.
  • For filling:

  • - 100 g of steamed rice;

  • - 6 eggs;

  • - green onions to taste;

  • - 100 g of butter.
  • For frying:

  • - 50 ml of vegetable oil.

Pour half a liter of warm water into a bowl and dissolve 11 g of yeast in it. Add 2 tablespoons of sugar, 2 teaspoons of salt and 1 tablespoon of softened butter, mix well. Add the sifted flour and knead the dough. Leave the dough warm for about one hour.

Rinse well. Put the rice in a pan, add 50 g of butter and pour 2-3 times more water than the volume of rice. Cook rice over low heat under a lid (no need to bother). After the water has evaporated, the rice can be considered ready.

Wash green onions and chop finely. Take onion to taste.

Cool, boil eggs, peel, cut into small cubes and mix with boiled rice.

Add chopped onions and melted butter to rice and eggs, salt to taste, mix.

Put the dough on the table, divide into small pieces. Roll each piece of dough into a cake. On a cake, put a serving of rice, egg and green onion toppings. Form the pies.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan. Fry the pies on both sides to a delicious crust. Transfer the finished cakes to paper towels to remove grease. Serve warm.
