Chop the whole gutted chicken into portions. Rinse them in cool running water. Allow excess fluid to drain. Dry with paper towels. Peel the carrots and garlic. Also rinse in cool running water. Cut into small sticks, about 1 cm long. Using a sharp knife to pierce the chicken pieces, stuff them with carrots and garlic. This will add extra flavor and aroma to the meat during baking. Put prepared chicken pieces in a refractory form. Lubricating the mold with oil is not necessary.

Peel onions. Rinse the lemon and peeled onions in cool running water. Cut the lemon into thin slices, onions - into 4-6 parts, depending on the size of the heads. Put the chopped ingredients on top of the chicken. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and thyme on top. Mix well. Pour in white wine.

Bake chicken in a preheated oven for 40-45 minutes at a temperature of 200 ° C. Water the chicken periodically with the resulting liquid.

Serve hot chicken with wine, sprinkled with fresh chopped parsley. Garnish in the form of friable boiled rice, mashed potatoes or grilled vegetables goes well with this dish. Complete with fresh vegetable salad seasoned with olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, dried basil and oregano. If desired, also use a snack in the form of sun-dried tomatoes sprinkled with olive oil.
