You will need

  • - minced meat (it is best to take pork and beef) - 500 g;

  • - onions - 2 pcs.;

  • - chicken egg - 1 pc.;

  • - breadcrumbs - 2 tbsp. l or crumbs 1 piece of bread;

  • - milk - 50 ml;

  • - beef or chicken broth - 300 ml;

  • - cream with a fat content of 20% - 200 ml;

  • - flour - 1 tbsp. l without a hill;

  • - butter - 180 g (1 pack).

  • - ground white pepper - at the tip of the knife (can be replaced with black);

  • - sugar - 0.5 tsp;

  • - salt;

  • - a frying pan.

Instruction manual

1

Peel the onions and chop them into small cubes. Heat the pan and melt 50 g butter in it. Then sprinkle the chopped onion and fry it until transparent.

2

Pour the milk into a small bowl and pour the breadcrumbs into it so that they are well saturated. Or put a piece of bread and leave it in milk for 2-3 minutes.

3

Transfer minced meat to the bowl, add the onion, softened crackers or bread, which you need to break into small pieces. As well as a chicken egg, ground pepper and salt to taste. All together mix well until smooth.

4

Now, from the resulting meat mass, form meatballs in the form of balls with a diameter of about 4-5 cm. After this, melt the remaining butter in a pan and fry the meatballs on it. They need to be turned several times to form a delicious golden crust on all sides.

5

When the meatballs are ready, transfer them to a separate dish or in a saucepan. Now we will prepare the sauce for them. Pour the broth, cream and flour into the same pan without washing it. Bring the mass to a thickening, stirring all the time so that not a single flour lump remains. At the end, put ground pepper and salt.

6

Before serving, put the meatballs in portions, pouring them with creamy sauce. As a side dish, mashed potatoes, rice or pasta are the best choice for such a dish.
