Yogurt-based sauces are gaining more and more popularity in our diet. They are very unusual, tasty, easily digestible and low-calorie. All these qualities are just right for the summer season.

To make yogurt-based sauce, you will need:

  • 300 gr ripe red tomatoes

  • 1 small hot pepper,

  • 150 g of fresh garden mint,

  • 150 g of cilantro,

  • 1/2 liter yogurt without fillers,

  • paprika,

  • salt.

Sauce Preparation Method

We take the tomatoes, wash them thoroughly under running water, scald them with boiling water from the kettle, carefully remove the skin from all and finely chop it.

Carefully remove the seeds from the hot pepper and chop the pepper very finely.

We sort the sprigs of mint and cilantro, remove the damaged ones and thoroughly rinse with cold water, dry them.

Then the prepared greens are finely chopped, but not all, but we leave a few stems with leaves for decorating the sauce.

Everything that we chopped up is now mixed, salted to taste, laid out in a bowl designed for sauce, and carefully poured with slightly salted yogurt.

Beautifully sprinkle with paprika, arrange with mint leaves and a sprig of cilantro.

Serve such a sauce necessarily cold.

The second meat dishes with side dishes of boiled rice, buckwheat, barley and potatoes will become even tastier if you add our sauce to them.
