Edible chestnuts, prepared for further processing, lay in one layer on a dry baking sheet and put in an oven preheated to 200 degrees. Soak for 20-40 minutes depending on the size of the chestnuts. Small chestnuts, to avoid overdrying, bake at a temperature of 180 degrees.

Baked chestnuts need to be peeled. It is easier to do if you first press on the chestnut with your palm, then carefully remove the shell. The peel remaining on the core must be removed with a knife. After this, boil the chestnuts in boiling water for about 10 minutes. The kernels will become soft and juicy. Pass the chestnuts thus prepared through a meat grinder. Mix the resulting powdery powder with honey. In this case, add honey gradually, in small portions. The result should be a fairly plastic, but at the same time slightly loose mass.

Take cookie cutters and tamp the dough tightly into these cookie cutters. Then carefully remove the cookies and keep in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
