    • For cottage cheese manna with berry sauce:
    • a glass of flour;
    • 400 grams of cottage cheese;
    • a glass of semolina;
    • 10 g of baking powder;
    • half a glass of sugar;
    • a glass of milk;
    • 150 g butter;
    • a handful of any berries;
    • half a glass of water.

Cook thick semolina. To do this, add the cereal to boiling milk and cook for 3 minutes, then put salt, butter and sugar in the porridge. Cool it and put in a bowl.

Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Add the yolks to the porridge, mix. Pour the flour there. Beat whites in a strong foam and pour them into semolina dough, mix gently.

Line a baking dish with parchment paper, then coat with vegetable oil and sprinkle with flour. Pour the dough into a mold.

Lubricate the surface of the manna with sour cream and pierce it with a fork in several places. The fat content of sour cream should be at least 25%. Place the pie in a preheated oven and bake until cooked. It takes about 30 minutes. Put the finished manna on a dish, decorate it with icing sugar and serve as an unusual dessert for tea.

Mannik with cottage cheese is prepared a little differently. Mix semolina with sifted flour, and cottage cheese with granulated sugar. Put these mixtures in a mold as follows: a layer with flour, a layer with cottage cheese.

Heat the milk, quench the baking powder in it, add the butter and pour the resulting milk-butter mixture into the mold. Put in a preheated oven for half an hour. You can add fruits and berries to the manna. They should be laid out in a separate layer.

Make berry sauce. To do this, pour water into a stewpan, pour a teaspoon of sugar, bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes. Pour the resulting syrup to the berries, frozen berries are also quite suitable for this sauce. Grind everything with a blender. The berry sauce is ready. Pour the baked mannik with it and serve.

If the manna on the outside is well roasted and still damp inside, cover it with foil on top and bake until cooked.

To make the pie high, use a small diameter baking dish, for example, 18 centimeters.

Useful advice

To check the readiness of the manna, it must be pierced with a toothpick or a match, if it is dry - the baking is ready.

Before serving, you can pour the cake with chocolate icing.

A good filling for manna can be dried dates, raisins, candied fruits, cherries, lemon.
