You will need

  • - vegetables (any) - 1 kg;

  • - salt;

  • - vegetable oil;

Instruction manual

1

Rinse the vegetables thoroughly, peel them, then cut them very thinly into circles. In order for the chips to turn out to be crispy, you need to cut them as thinly as possible. This is difficult to do with an ordinary knife, so the ideal option is to use a special grater.

2

Then salt the vegetables (take the amount of salt to taste) and leave them for 30-40 minutes so that excess moisture comes out of them.

After the lapse of time, wash the vegetables again, dry them (it is best to use a disposable towel) and again lightly salt. At this point, you can sprinkle the vegetables with the seasonings you like the most. A great option is hot pepper, garlic or paprika.

3

Now cover the baking sheet with parchment, oil it and put the prepared vegetables on it. Put the slices of vegetables in one layer, only in this case the chips will turn out crispy, and they will cook much faster.

4

Next, place the baking sheet in the oven, adjusting the temperature in it to 60 degrees, and leave it there for 1 hour. As soon as the set time expires, take out a baking tray with chips and let stand at room temperature for 10-15 minutes. Then put the vegetable chips on a plate. Delicious, healthy and fragrant vegetable chips are ready.

Useful advice

When preparing chips, it is imperative to use parchment so that there are no problems with the separation of chips from a baking sheet.
