If you like to have a tight dinner, prepare a meat dish with a cereal side dish. Try to make chicken in sour cream with buckwheat - this combination will appeal not only to adults, but also to children.

You will need:

- 400 g chicken;

- 200 g of champignons;

- 1 glass of buckwheat;

- 1 glass of sour cream;

- 1 large onion;

- salt;

- freshly ground black pepper;

- vegetable oil for frying.

Rinse the buckwheat, put it in a plastic or glass dish, fill it with two glasses of water and add salt. Put the pan in the microwave. Cook porridge for 12 minutes at maximum power. Buckwheat will turn out magnificent and friable. When it is ready, pour a little vegetable oil into it and mix.

Wash the chicken fillet, pat dry with a paper towel, remove the films and grease. Dice the meat. Chop the onion into thin half rings. In a deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil and fry the onion in it until transparent. Add chicken and mushrooms, sliced. Stir and cook all 5 minutes. Then pour the contents of the pan with sour cream, salt and stew until cooked. Sprinkle chicken with freshly ground black pepper.

According to the same recipe, you can cook beef or lean pork.

Put buckwheat and chicken in sour cream on heated plates. Separately, you can serve a salad of fresh or pickled vegetables with vegetable oil.
