You will be surprised, but pork cutlets can be low-calorie and not too fat. These are cutlets steamed without oil. The nutritional value of this dish is only 200 Kcal per 100 g.

Such cutlets go well with buckwheat or mashed potatoes, and even small children can eat them.

What products will be needed:

  • lean pork - 400 g;

  • onions - 1 medium-sized head;

  • garlic - 2-3 cloves;

  • egg - 2 pcs.;

  • white bread - 100 g;

  • milk - 50 ml;

  • fresh greens - 1 small bunch;

  • salt to taste;

  • black pepper to taste.

Phased recipe:

  1. Slice the pork into medium sized slices. Peel the onion and divide into quarters. Pass the meat, onion and garlic through a meat grinder.

  2. Add to the resulting mass of eggs, bread soaked in milk and finely chopped fresh herbs. Salt, pepper, mix thoroughly. Tip: if you cook for children, try adding less pepper to cutlets.

  3. In order not to use flour or breadcrumbs to form cutlets, simply sprinkle your hands with water, and then scoop up some minced meat and give it the shape of a slightly elongated cake. Repeat with the remaining minced meat.

  4. Pour about 1 liter of water into the bowl of your multicooker. Place cutlets in the steaming bowl (supplied with all multicookers). Select the mode "Steamed" or "Steaming", set the time 30 minutes from the start of boiling. A little trick: most modern multicooker models start the countdown in the “Steaming” mode precisely after boiling. If your slow cooker starts the countdown immediately after the start, simply increase the cooking time by 15 minutes.

  5. Serve pork steaks hot with tomato sauce and a side dish of potatoes, pasta or cereals.
