We peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes, approximately 1.5x2 cm. Potatoes must be dried with a paper towel to remove excess water. In a pan, heat the vegetable oil and begin to fry the potatoes. It is necessary to fry for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.

During this time, it is necessary to finely chop onions and add to the pan.

While our potatoes and onions are fried, we take sauerkraut. Squeeze it from the juice and add to the pan to the potatoes. It is necessary to mix everything and continue to fry over medium heat.

After 3-5 minutes, add tomato paste, salt and spices to taste and mix thoroughly. Then add boiled water so that the vegetables are completely covered with it. Reduce the heat and cover. Stew for about 10-15 minutes. You need to check the readiness for potatoes - it should become soft.

Before adding spices, taste the tomato paste. If the paste is too acidic, you can add a teaspoon of sugar.
