You will need

  • 2 l of water

  • 300 g chicken liver

  • 3 potatoes

  • 1 carrot

  • 1 onion

  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

  • parsley

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Wash the chicken liver in cold water. Put it in boiling salted water.

Boil the liver for 10 minutes, periodically removing the foam.

Peel potatoes, carrots and onions.

Cut the potatoes into cubes, grate the carrots on a fine grater, chop the onion as finely as possible.

Fry the onions in a pan with the addition of vegetable oil for 5-7 minutes.

Remove the liver from the pan, cool and cut into small pieces.

In the broth remaining after cooking the liver, add potatoes and sauteed onions. Boil vegetables until half cooked.

Add carrots and chopped liver to the pan. Leave the soup on fire for another 5 minutes.

Finely chop the parsley, sprinkle soup with it after cooking.

Parsley must be added after cooking. You can’t boil greens, otherwise it will lose its beneficial properties.

Useful advice

Not everyone likes boiled carrots, so it’s better to rub it on a fine grater. In addition, with this cooking method, it will give the dish a beautiful color.
