Pilaf is one of the most famous dishes, the main ingredients of which are rice and meat. However, in many national cuisines they prepare other treats from these products, for example, in Italy - risotto with veal, and in Greece - moussaka with beef and pumpkin.

To cook mushaki with meat and pumpkin, take:

- 0.5 kg of beef;

- 3 tablespoons of rice;

- 0.5 kg of pumpkin pulp;

- 2 large tomatoes;

- 1 head of onion;

- 1 tablespoon of butter;

- olive oil;

- ground black pepper and salt.

Cut the beef into small cubes. In a stewpan, heat the butter and fry the meat in it. Then fill it with water so that it covers it. Cover the dishes and simmer the beef for 15-20 minutes.

In a separate bowl, boil the rice until half cooked. To do this, boil water, pour cereal into it and cook for about 5 minutes. Prepare the pumpkin. Peel the fruit and remove the seeds. Cut the pulp into thin slices. Peel and chop the onion. Sauté the vegetables individually in olive oil.

Combine meat, fried onions and rice. Grease the walls of the pan with butter, put half of the pumpkin, then a layer of meat with rice and again pumpkin. Slice the tomatoes and put them on top of the dish. Pour the broth from the stewpan in which the beef was stewed into a pan with food. Season with salt and pepper and put in a preheated oven to bake for 20 minutes.

Serve the moussaka hot while sprinkling the dish with chopped parsley.

In India, rice is cooked with chicken and curry. This is a very tasty and spicy dish, for the preparation of which you will need:

- 300 g of chicken breast;

- 100 g of rice;

- 2 tablespoons of curry sauce;

- 1 teaspoon of curry powder;

- 2 tablespoons of melted butter;

- salt.

Cut the breast into small cubes. Put them in a bowl and mix the meat with powder and curry sauce. Leave the chicken to marinate for 1 hour in a cool place.

Melt the melted butter in a pan and lightly fry the chicken pieces on it. Then put the rice and fry until it is completely saturated with oil and becomes transparent. Add hot water to cover meat and rice. Cover and bring to a boil. Then remove it and cook another 10-15 minutes.

There is rice with chicken and curry you need hot with unleavened cakes.

Risotto with veal and green peas is a tasty and satisfying dish, for the preparation of which you will need:

- 1 glass of rice;

- 0.5 kg of veal;

- 0.5 cans of canned green peas;

- 2 eggs;

- ¼ cup fat cream;

- 2 glasses of meat broth;

- 100 g of parmesan cheese;

- ground black pepper and salt;

- dried Italian herbs.

Rinse the rice under a stream of cold water, drop it into a colander. This is necessary in order to glass excess water. Spread the cereal on a clean towel and let the rice dry.

Peel and chop the onion into small pieces. Heat the vegetable oil and fry the onion in it until transparent. Then add the dried rice to it and fry until the rice also becomes transparent. Pour the meat broth into the pan, bring the mass to a boil, then reduce the heat. Cover the dishes and cook rice until cooked for 15 minutes.

Cut the meat into small pieces and fry in vegetable oil. After that, mix it with rice, add green peas. Salt and season with pepper and put the mass in a baking dish, oiled.

Beat the eggs slightly. Add cream, dried Italian herbs and mix thoroughly. Pour the egg and cream into a dish, sprinkle with grated Parmesan and put in a hot oven for 15 minutes. Serve the risotto to the table hot.
