It just so happens that tomatoes do not always have time to ripen in our country house - the summer is short, the weather often fails. But since everyone in the family is lovers of salty green tomatoes, it’s even on hand: more goodies can be prepared for the winter.

You will need

  • - 3 kg of green tomatoes (you can take a little brown),

  • - 2-3 branches of celery,

  • - 2 heads of garlic,

  • - 3 sweet peppers,

  • - 2 onions,

  • - 1 small hot pepper,

  • - allspice peas,

  • - 3 l of water,

  • - 150 g of salt.

Wash and cut the tomatoes into slices, remove seeds from sweet pepper and cut into strips. Peel the garlic, if the cloves are large, chop. Onion cut into half rings. In one container, mix the vegetables and put them in clean, sterilized jars.

Prepare the brine: boil the water, add salt, celery, hot pepper. Bring to a boil and boil for 5-7 minutes. It is necessary to regulate the severity by the amount of pepper at the brine preparation stage.

Pour jars with ready-made, still hot brine, cover with lids and sterilize for 10-12 minutes. Then roll up the tomatoes and put in storage.

It turns out a light sour-hot salad, which is not a sin to serve on the holiday.

Celery has a "negative calorie content", which means that when it is consumed, the body receives less calories than it takes to digest it.
