You will need
- - 3 pumpkins (preferably butternut variety);
- - 6 pcs. chicken drumsticks;
- - 1 stalk of leek;
- - 100 g dried apricots;
- - ½ tbsp. rice;
- - 6 cloves of garlic;
- - 1-2 tbsp. l vegetable oil;
- - 50-70 g of butter;
- - salt and pepper to taste.

Rinse the chicken drumsticks. In a pan, mix the vegetable and 30 g of butter. In this mixture, over low heat, fry the meat, pre-salt and pepper it. Fry the drumsticks on each side for at least 5 minutes.

Then remove the legs from the pan and sauté the leek and crushed garlic instead.

Boil rice in salted water and add butter. Cut dried apricots into thin strips.

Wash the pumpkin, cut it in half and remove the seeds. Remove the pulp from the pumpkin so that the walls remain 1-2 cm thick. Put rice with chicken in the pumpkin, with the lower legs stacked on top and squeeze them a little into the rice.

Wrap each pumpkin in foil and place on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven for about 2 hours.
Useful advice
Serve the dish hot. And do not throw out the pulp from the pumpkin, it can make an excellent dessert.
