With the advent of the heating season, many people need: to moisten the air - on the one hand, and to dry the berries and fruits collected in autumn - on the other. You can dry for the winter apple chips, candied pumpkin, dogrose, hawthorn, carrots, onions, herbs. All these tasks are successfully solved by drying products using a battery - these are 5 vertical compartments between and 1 compartment on top. To do this, you can make a special device - a framework for drying and use skewers with a notch.

Take or make a frame measuring 15 * 41cm from wooden slats (or from thick cardboard). To do this, take a rail 2 cm wide and 1 cm thick, cut into pieces 37 cm - 2 pcs., 15 cm - 2 pcs. and glue the Instant Express Joiner with glue. Then leave to dry overnight.

Next, fix the usual mosquito net 30 * 41cm in size - 2 frames around the perimeter with stationery cloves every 5 cm.

Then, on the perimeter of the frame, on one side, fasten one part of the Velcro with stationery cloves, and on the other hand, wash the second part of the Velcro.

Now remove the peel, remove the core using a special device and cut or circles in 5mm. Arrange the apples on the frame.

Close the device with Velcro and fix each row of apples with a pin on top.

Put between the sections of the battery a frame with apples to dry for a day.

Thus, it is possible to dry on one battery 2.3 kg of fresh apples, of which 13% will be in the dry residue, i.e. get 300 grams of drying - apple chips.

Another method is that the apple is not peeled, but the core is removed and cut into slices and strung on skewers, skewers with special notches so that the fruits do not move down.

Between the battery sections you can place 5 skewers with 12 apple slices on it (about 1 Simirenko apple).
