For one heart, you need two tomatoes. They should be the same size and similar in shape.
Before cutting a tomato, it is worth considering that the long side of the future part should be twice as long as the short (as in the photo).
We cut the tomato diagonally, with a slight indentation at the bottom of it.

For the heart, only the top of the tomato is used. One side should be long, and the second short.

In order for the heart to turn out the first time for the second part, you need to cut the tomato diagonally, but under a different slope. The part should fit the size of the first part. Be sure to indent from the bottom.
To get the same parts, you need to measure the sides of the first part and take into account the dimensions when determining the cut line of the second tomato.

The bottom of the tomatoes can be added to a salad or pasta sauce.
To get a heart, it is enough to put two parts together. They join at the site of the cut, so it is important that the cuts are the same size.
We unfold a little detail, the long sides of the parts are the side parts of the heart. Short sides should appear at the top. The cut will be in an upright position.

Cherry tomatoes in packs of different sizes. Be sure to find the same in shape and size.
