Important internal design, original solutions, convenient and understandable structure.
The menu should not look pale, but it is also not worth it to dazzle greatly.
It would be nice if each dish (or at least the most expensive and exotic) was accompanied by brief descriptions and illustrations in order to avoid unnecessary uncomfortable questions. Moreover, these descriptions and illustrations themselves should not be placed too strictly in the form of an even list, especially with regard to images. They can be made as a background, a nice addition to the text, but not a reference column like an encyclopedic one. Such freedom gives originality and is pleasing to the eye.

The structure of building the menu is also important. First of all, logic. Obviously, it will be very strange to arrange desserts or drinks on the first page. Dishes should be placed on the menu in the order of their intended use. By the way, about drinks. Of course, they are usually prescribed in a separate block, like everything else, and this is completely normal, but you can add light, unobtrusive recommendations that we recommend such and such wine to such and such a dish, for example. You can mark this with a link, or you can use a small image of the corresponding bottle of wine on the side of the main dish.
