You will need
- 3 pcs. carcasses of hazel grouse,
- 3 slices of refined sugar,
- 30 gr butter
- 70-100 gr. lingonberry berries,
- fat,
- leaf salad,
- salt, black pepper,
- vegetable oil.
Gut the carcasses of grouse, rinse under running water, dry with paper towels. Scorch hairs on the skin. In the prepared carcasses of grouse put a small piece of butter, add a piece of sugar. Sort out lingonberries in advance, rinse well and completely dry. Frozen berries can be used, they must be thawed and the resulting liquid drained. Put some berries in the grouse carcasses. Fill the meat with thin slices of bacon. Grease the carcass on top with vegetable oil and bake in a well-heated oven, putting it on a wire rack, 20-30 minutes. If it is possible to cook grouse on an open fire - excellent. Serve grouse on large round plates lined with lettuce.
