Rice with Chicken and Vegetables
Ingredients:
- 600 g of chicken breast;
- 8 cherry tomatoes;
- 200 g of unpolished rice;
- 2 oranges;
- 20 g of honey;
- 100 g of green beans;
- 50 g of green peas;
- 1 onion;
- 1 clove of garlic;
- several leaves of cilantro (or any other greenery to taste);
- vegetable oil;
- salt and pepper.
Boil rice for 20 minutes in salted water. Cut the chicken into small pieces, salt, pepper, fry with two tablespoons of vegetable oil for 4-5 minutes, stirring.
Squeeze the juice of two oranges.
Peel and chop the onion. Green peas and green beans for 2 minutes, pour boiling water, then drain the water. Tomatoes cut in half.
In a separate bowl, fry the onions and sliced garlic with two tablespoons of vegetable oil for 3 minutes. Add the chicken, then add the remaining products every 30 seconds in the following order: green beans, green peas, rice, tomatoes.
Salt, pepper to taste, pour in orange juice and honey, simmer for 2 minutes. At the very end, add cilantro, mix and serve.
