To begin with, you should prepare the filling. To do this, put 1/4 cup sugar in a small saucepan. Stir in heat until all of it has turned into caramel.

Then reduce the heat and add jam, 1 tablespoon of water, a pinch of salt and lemon juice. Stir until caramel is dissolved. Then remove from heat and set aside for cooling.

Mix with a mixer the butter, the remaining sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of salt to a light and fluffy consistency for 5 minutes. Then add the chopped almonds, then the egg yolks one at a time, the almond extract and the remaining flour.

Divide the dough into six equal parts. Form from each piece of dough a layer - cake with a diameter of 20 cm. The edges of the cake should be evenly rounded. Refrigerate them for 2 hours or freeze for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Bake each cake on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper until golden brown for 15 minutes.
