Chicken Stuffed with Fresh or Frozen Cranberries
You will need:
- chicken - 1 kg;
- cranberries - 2-2.5 cups;
- sugar - 100 g;
- white bread - 200 g;
- butter - 70 g;
- salt and seasonings.
Prepare the chicken carcass (process, wash, dry with a paper towel), grate with salt and spices. Then cook the "stuffing" of berries. Squeeze cranberries a little with a spoon to let the juice flow, pour sugar into the berries and leave for 40-45 minutes.
Make croutons from white bread. To do this, cut bread into cubes and fry in a pan in butter until crusted.
Mix berries with breadcrumbs, add spices. Stuff the chicken with the resulting filling and sew up the hole so that the stuffing remains inside.
Bake chicken in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes, periodically pouring the resulting berry juice.
