You will need

    • Chicken - 1 kg
    • Onion medium size 2 pieces
    • Chicken Egg - 1 piece
    • Garlic - 2-3 cloves
    • Oatmeal - half a cup
    • Fresh greens
    • Vegetable oil
    • Flour
    • Salt
    • ground black pepper

Instruction manual

1

Wash the chicken, dry the carcass with a paper kitchen towel, cut the meat from it. If the cutlets are not dietary, then the skin and internal chicken fat can be left.

2

Pass onion, garlic and chicken meat through a meat grinder, there you can add a few branches of dill. Beat the egg into the minced meat, knead it well to a dense uniform mass.

3

Oatmeal, pour boiling water, wait until they swell, drain the water and add them to the minced meat. Salt and pepper it lightly. Once again, mix everything well, cover the bowl with cling film and place for a while so that the minced meat “rests”.

4

Heat oil in a pan. Form small minced meat patties. Pour the flour on a saucer or plate and carefully roll each cutlet in it. Then put in a frying pan and fry each on two sides in oil.

5

Put the fried cutlets in a pan, reduce the heat to a minimum and simmer them under the lid for another 5-7 minutes. Turn off the fire, but do not lift the cover. After 5 minutes, take out the cutlets and lay them on portioned plates, lightly sprinkled with finely chopped garlic and herbs

Useful advice

If the cutlets are dietary, they can be simply raw, without frying, stewed in a pan in any sauce, closing the lid. In this case, it is better to form round meatballs from them.
