The name "Chevapchichi" received meat products made in the form of sausages and fried in a pan. They are prepared from minced meat with the addition of onions and spices. If you want to surprise your household with something unusual, they will surely appreciate Chevapchichi. Food can be served solo, or with a side dish. In both variations it will turn out satisfying and tasty.

You will need

  • - any minced meat (pork-beef, beef, chicken or mixed) - 600 g;

  • - large onions - 1 pc.;

  • - mineral water with gas - 3 tbsp. l.;

  • - red bell pepper - 1 tbsp. l.;

  • - black ground pepper - 1 tsp;

  • - soda - 1 pinch;

  • - salt - 1 tsp;

  • - sunflower oil - 2 tbsp. l.;

  • - a frying pan.

Peel onions and grate. You can also chop it with a blender or chop it finely with a knife.

In the bowl, put the minced meat, chopped onions, red and black peppers, as well as salt and soda. Mix together until smooth. After that add mineral water, knead well with your hands and beat off - you should get a mass that holds its shape. Then cover the bowl with a lid or cling film and put in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.

Take out the minced meat and form sausages from it about 2 cm in diameter. Pour the sunflower oil into the pan and heat it.

Put the sausages in a pan and fry until they are browned. Then flip it over to the other side and fry until tender - the roughened the crust is, the tastier the “Chevapchichi” will be.

Finished products can be laid out in portions directly from the pan and served with fresh vegetables, salad or any side dish.
