A classic summer Italian salad is one of the oldest national dishes that Italians prefer to eat in hot weather. As a rule, it is prepared from various ingredients, limited only by the imagination of the cook. But the main ones are, of course, pasta, vegetables, olive oil and herbs.

You will need
- - paste - 250 g;
- - green bell pepper - 1/2 cup;
- - red bell pepper - 1/2 cup;
- - canned beans - 500 g;
- - purple onion - 100 g;
- - olive oil - 3 tbsp. spoons;
- - lemon juice - 3 tbsp. spoons;
- - oregano - 1.5 teaspoons;
- - salt and black pepper - to taste.
Instruction manual

Boil pasta in the form of short tubes made exclusively from durum wheat, boil in salted water. It should never be boiled down. Then discard the paste in a colander, dry and cool.

Place the paste in a large bowl. Add to it canned beans, diced onions, as well as red and green bell peppers, chopped into small strips.

Combine in a bottle olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, pepper and salt. Screw the cap on the bottle and shake it well.

Pour salad dressing and mix it. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Ideally, a classic Italian salad is cooled for 4-5 hours. Then mix again and serve.
note
In this salad, you can also add cherry tomatoes or, for example, lettuce.
Useful advice
Cook the paste at the rate of 100 g of paste and 10 g of salt per 1 liter of water.
