Italian cuisine is famous for the fact that all the dishes in it are very hearty, but at the same time inexpensive. One of the favorite examples is pizza. Another option that many housewives like for their budget and excellent taste is Italian salad. The appetizer is allowed to "collect" from any products that are in the refrigerator, not forgetting, of course, about the compatibility of the ingredients. If you are not ready to experiment yet, then prepare the Italian salad according to the recipes suggested below.

You will need

  • - 300 g of pasta;

  • - 300 g of lean ham;

  • - 2-3 pcs. tomatoes. If possible, then buy small cherry tomatoes, they look very nice in a salad. Small tomatoes need 6 pcs.;

  • - 1 PC. red bell pepper;

  • - 150 g of cheese. In principle, any variety is suitable, but it is better to cook with mozzarella;

  • - 200 g canned corn;

  • - 2 garlic cloves;

  • - Salt, pepper as desired;

  • - Basil or parsley, dill is not worth adding, it does not go well with Italian salad;

  • - 1 tbsp. l olive oil for cooking pasta;

  • - For refueling you will need 5 tbsp. l olive oil and 1 tbsp. l fruit vinegar.

Let's start cooking the Italian salad. First of all, take a small pan, fill it with water, add 1 tbsp. l olive oil. Boil the contents of the pan.

Put the pasta in boiling water and cook, according to the instructions on the package. Manufacturers often indicate how much you need to cook the product to make it, as the Italians say, “al dente” or “by tooth”. For a delicious Italian salad, it is important to cook pasta correctly.

When the pasta is boiled, discard them in a colander, let the liquid drain.

Wash the tomatoes, remove the stem, cut into small squares. Using cherry tomatoes, cut out into 4-6 pieces depending on size. Cherry just perfectly complement the Italian salad, making it bright.

Wash the pepper, remove the stalk, clean the seeds. Cut the prepared vegetable into thin strips.

Cheese, if hard variety is selected, grate on a coarse grater. If mozzarella is used to make Italian salad, cut it into small pieces.

Cut the ham into large cubes, it is important that its taste is “traced” in the salad.

Open a can of corn, discard the product in a colander, allow excess liquid to drain.

Make a salad dressing. To do this, combine olive oil and fruit vinegar, add the garlic, passed through the press, and ground pepper. Stir the ingredients.

In a deep plate, combine warm pasta, corn, prepared peppers, cheese, tomatoes and ham.

If you could not find fruit vinegar in the store, do not worry. Fruit product can be replaced with lemon juice or balsamic vinegar, which is sold everywhere.
