The traditional pea soup can be diversified by adding smoked ribs to it, which will give the dish a special taste and unique aroma. Cooking such a soup in a slow cooker is quite simple, and the cooking process itself will take much less time than cooking it on a regular stove.

  • - 300 g smoked pork ribs;

  • - 300 g of ground peas;

  • - 2 heads of onions;

  • - 2 carrots;

  • - 700 g of potatoes;

  • - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of sunflower oil;

  • - salt to taste.

Pour the peas with boiling water and leave to soak for 1 hour. At this time, cut the carrots and onions into cubes.

Pour the sunflower oil into the multicooker bowl, put the chopped vegetables in it and fry them for 15 minutes in the "Frying" mode. This process is best done with the lid closed, periodically stirring the vegetables until the end of the regimen. We put the finished frying for soup in a separate bowl.

We wash the smoked pork ribs and divide them into pieces.

Put soaked peas, pork ribs into the bowl of the multicooker and fill with two liters of water. We turn on the “Soup” program for 2 hours.

We clean the potatoes, wash them and cut them into cubes. 30 minutes before the end of cooking, add chopped potatoes, salt to taste and cooked frying from carrots and onions to the multicooker capacity.
